Exhibition dedicated to Marcello Parisi

TRACCE… a journey undertaken by Elena Parisi, who rediscovered and reinterpreted, in an entirely personal manner, a few paintings by her father Marcello Parisi, a well-known fashion designer, in a heated and knowing dialogue between figurations and appearances, between marks traced years ago on canvas and current photographs shot in the most uncontaminated nature. A relationship between two authentic and synaesthetic contexts that lead one to think of parallel words that are silently waiting to be acknowledged: the first one tied to family tradition and to the search for one’s roots, while the second one, through rediscovered roots, allows one’s psychic identity to surface once again.
After all, time is only given by the diversity of existing lives, by the variety of hues and colours that characterize the life of every individual. In this portfolio, the artist is able to discover all colour gradations and shades, revealing that impalpable border that separates the sensitive world from the apperceptive one.
