FONS GRATIAE

The
bassadanza Venus reading, conceived by Lorenzo the Magnificent and lying in his treatise by Guglielmo Ebreo from Pesaro - which is just out the volume dedicated to him in care of A.D.A. as a result of the Meeting organized in 2012 - was the track that pushed Chiara Gelmetti and Elena Parisi imagine this
bassadanza (which some scholars speculate has close relationship with the most famous dance of the Graces painted by Sandro Botticelli in La Primavera), come to life at the seaside, where the main characters of La Primavera, reinterpreted through the poetic acephalous photographs by Elena Parisi and the dancing gesture stirred by Chiara Gelmetti, weave a picture within a picture, giving the element water the predominant part.
The first sequence of this work introduces
Fons Zephyr, without which the Graces, in the second sequence, could not channel that breath (
ànemos), that strength, that impulse to movement and that air, that only they can transform into harmony.
